(Trenton, NJ) – In response to today’s New Jersey Right to Life endorsement, Michele Jaker, Executive Director of the Planned Parenthood Action Committee of New Jersey released the following statement:
 
“We’ve been saying all along that Chris Christie opposes a woman’s right to choose and supports dangerous policies that threaten women’s health care. 

Christie even supports a constitutional amendment to ban abortion.

Today’s endorsement is just more proof that Chris Christie is wrong on women’s health care and reproductive rights.
 
In stark contrast, Governor Corzine and Senator Weinberg have a solid record of protecting women’s health and supporting common sense measures, such as family planning, to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies.”
